- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips, divided
- 3 large eggs, room temperature
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- Optional: hot fudge sauce for topping
Instructions
- Melt the Chocolate and Butter
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Melt butter with 2 cups chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Let cool slightly. - Mix the Batter
Whisk eggs and sugar until glossy and slightly thickened. Add vanilla, then whisk in melted chocolate mixture. - Add Dry Ingredients
Gently fold in flour and salt just until combined. Stir in remaining 1 cup chocolate chips. - Bake the Pie
Pour batter into a greased 9-inch pie plate or springform pan. Bake 30–35 minutes until crackly on top and soft in the center. - Cool and Serve
Cool for 20 minutes before slicing. Drizzle with warm hot fudge if desired.
Notes
- Store leftover pie in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
- For extra richness, serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
