Description

Ingredients

  • 1 medium head green cabbage
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt (to taste)
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Remove outer leaves from the cabbage and cut it into thick slices (about 1 inch wide).
  3. In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  4. Place cabbage slices on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and brush generously with garlic butter. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
