Description
A delicious and easy slow cooker French dip made with tender chuck roast and served with crusty rolls and flavorful broth.
Ingredients

- 3 lb chuck roast
- 4 cups low-sodium beef broth
- 2 medium onions, thinly sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 6 crusty French rolls
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Slice onions and mince garlic. Pat chuck roast dry and season generously with salt and pepper.
- (Optional) Sear the roast in a skillet over medium-high heat for 4-5 minutes per side until browned.
- Place the roast in the crockpot; top with onions, garlic, beef broth mixed with Worcestershire sauce, thyme, and black pepper.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours until meat is tender.
- Shred the beef in the pot and spoon onto each roll. Serve with dipping broth.
Notes
- For extra flavor, try adding sliced peppers or mushrooms.
- Serve with provolone cheese for a cheesy version.
