Description
Deliciously fluffy baked potatoes cooked to perfection in an air fryer.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 medium russet potatoes
- 1 Tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Sprinkle pepper
- Optional Garnish and flavoring:
- Butter (optional)
- sour cream (optional)
- 2 Tablespoons chives (optional)
Instructions
- Scrub potatoes under cold running water then thoroughly dry with a towel.
- Poke the top of the potato five or six times with a sharp paring knife. Rub with oil and sprinkle all over with salt.
- Add the potatoes to the air fryer basket.
- Cook the potatoes in air fryer at 400°F for 40 to 50 minutes, rotating after 30 minutes. Test them with a fork. The fork should easily slide through to the center. Small potatoes will take less time and larger potatoes may take longer.
- Carefully transfer the potatoes to a plate and serve immediately.
Notes
- Adjust cooking time based on the size of the potatoes.
- Let the potatoes rest for a few minutes after cooking for the best texture.
