Description

Deliciously fluffy baked potatoes cooked to perfection in an air fryer.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 medium russet potatoes
  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Sprinkle pepper
  • Optional Garnish and flavoring:
  • Butter (optional)
  • sour cream (optional)
  • 2 Tablespoons chives (optional)

Instructions

  1. Scrub potatoes under cold running water then thoroughly dry with a towel.
  2. Poke the top of the potato five or six times with a sharp paring knife. Rub with oil and sprinkle all over with salt.
  3. Add the potatoes to the air fryer basket.
  4. Cook the potatoes in air fryer at 400°F for 40 to 50 minutes, rotating after 30 minutes. Test them with a fork. The fork should easily slide through to the center. Small potatoes will take less time and larger potatoes may take longer.
  5. Carefully transfer the potatoes to a plate and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Adjust cooking time based on the size of the potatoes.
  • Let the potatoes rest for a few minutes after cooking for the best texture.
