- ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs, room temperature
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
- 1 tsp baking powder
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Mix in vanilla extract.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Gradually combine dry ingredients with the wet mixture; gently fold in chopped strawberries.
- Roll out dough on a floured surface and cut into desired shapes using cookie cutters. Place on prepared baking sheets.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are firm. Allow cooling before serving.
