- 1 tube crescent roll dough
- 1/2 pound breakfast sausage
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 1/4 cups whole milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out crescent dough, press seams together, and bake for 7-8 minutes until slightly golden.
- In a skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned and cooked through.
- Sprinkle flour over the sausage and stir to coat evenly.
- Slowly add milk, stirring constantly until gravy thickens. Season with salt and pepper.
- Spread sausage gravy over the baked crust.
- Sprinkle cheddar and mozzarella over the top.
- Bake again for 8-10 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.
