Description

A delicious sausage and cheese filling baked in a crescent roll crust, perfect for breakfast or brunch.


Ingredients

  • 1 tube crescent roll dough
  • 1/2 pound breakfast sausage
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/4 cups whole milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out crescent dough, press seams together, and bake for 7-8 minutes until slightly golden.
  3. In a skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned and cooked through.
  4. Sprinkle flour over the sausage and stir to coat evenly.
  5. Slowly add milk, stirring constantly until gravy thickens. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Spread sausage gravy over the baked crust.
  7. Sprinkle cheddar and mozzarella over the top.
  8. Bake again for 8-10 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.
