- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Pat chicken breasts dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt butter until bubbly. Sear the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth; stir to combine.
- Add Italian seasoning to the sauce and simmer for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and combined. Return chicken to the skillet, coating it in the sauce, and simmer for an additional minute.

- This dish pairs well with pasta or rice.
- For a lighter version, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
