Description
Delicious salmon fillets glazed with a sweet and tangy honey garlic sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 (6 oz each) salmon fillets
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lime juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels.
- In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, lime juice, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes until combined.
- Heat olive oil in a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Place salmon fillets skin-side down in the skillet and cook undisturbed for 4-5 minutes until golden brown.
- Flip the fillets carefully and pour half of the glaze over them. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the glaze thickens slightly and clings to the salmon.
- Serve immediately, drizzled with any remaining glaze.
Notes
- For best results, use fresh salmon fillets.
- Adjust the amount of red pepper flakes based on desired spice level.
