Description

A delicious appetizer made with spicy sausage, cream cheese, and phyllo pastry.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound spicy sausage
  • 2 jalapeños, diced
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 package phyllo pastry dough
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the spicy sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add diced jalapeños, garlic powder, and mix well.
  4. In a bowl, combine the cooked sausage mixture with cream cheese and cheddar cheese.
  5. Separate the phyllo pastry sheets and brush with olive oil.
  6. Place a spoonful of filling on each pastry and fold or roll as desired.
  7. Arrange on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add more jalapeños.
