Description
Deliciously crispy chicken wings prepared in an air fryer.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 pounds chicken wings
- 1 tablespoon baking powder (aluminum-free)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon olive oil (optional)
Instructions
- Pat the chicken wings very dry with paper towels to remove all moisture.
- In a large bowl, toss the wings with baking powder, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika until evenly coated.
- Let the seasoned wings sit for a few minutes to help the coating adhere.
- Arrange the wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket without overcrowding. Cook in batches if necessary.
- Air fry at 380°F for 25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- For extra crispiness, increase the temperature to 400°F for the final 3–5 minutes.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauces and garnishes like parsley or lemon juice.
Notes
- For best results, ensure wings are completely dry before seasoning.
- Feel free to customize the spices to your taste.
