- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tsp paprika (smoked or sweet)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- Zest of 1 lemon (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare your workspace and gather all ingredients.
- In a bowl, mix paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, oregano, and thyme until well combined.
- Drizzle olive oil into the spice mix to create a paste.
- Rub the mixture generously over the chicken breasts.
- Let marinate in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven or grill to 400°F (200°C) and cook the chicken until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C), about 20-25 minutes.
